Can I upgrade my VPS Tier?

Yes! You can upgrade your VPS fairly easily! The first way is upgrading the Tier completely:

  1. Go to your products and services here.
  2. Click on your active VPS.
  3. Click the green "Upgrade" button on the left side. 
  4. You will be prompted with a page that has every Tier above yours. You can choose the product you want.
  5. You will then go through a checkout process.
  6. Once done, you will need to STOP and START your VPS. 
  7. First, go back to the services page and click the active VPS. 
  8. At the bottom, click the gray square:


  9. Let the process finish and it will show offline. 
  10. Click the same button to start the VPS again. 
  11. Login and verify the specifications have changed. 

Can I upgrade/Downgrade specific components on my VPS?

Yes! You can upgrade and downgrade your VPS components (excluding storage) fairly easily! Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your products and services here.
  2. Click on your active VPS.
  3. Click "Upgrade/Downgrade Options" on the left hand side:
  4. You will then see each component available for upgrade and downgrade. 
    1. NOTE! You can NOT downgrade storage once purchased. 
  5. You will then go through a checkout process once choosing your upgrades. 
  6. Once done, you will need to STOP and START your VPS. 
  7. First, go back to the services page and click the active VPS. 
  8. At the bottom, click the gray square:


  9. Let the process finish and it will show offline. 
  10. Click the same button to start the VPS again. 
  11. Login and verify the specifications have changed. 

Can I downgrade my VPS Tier?

No, you cannot just downgrade the Tier through the same process. The only way you can "downgrade" the Tier completely, is by purchasing a separate VPS and transferring anything you need to the new one. This is because we cannot shrink the disk size of a VPS.
